Everyone remembers that one amazing riff, that 12-minute solo, the live show that revolutionized the way you thought about guitar-playing. But trying to get everyone to agree on only 100 of the best musicians in the field is a challenge.
Rolling Stone assembled a group of top-notch guitarists and experts in the field to come up with our 100 Greatest Guitarists list. Compiling “greatest” lists always induces discussion, and this time we asked guitar legends to comment on why their peers, colleagues and idols should be considered some of the best ever. Featuring Keith Richards on Chuck Berry, Carlos Santana on Jerry Garcia, Tom Petty on George Harrison and much, much more.

Yesterday I doodled a Batman head.
This turned into sketching out the rest of Batman.
And then his associates.
Which led to this.
I’m going to bed now.

Love this take on Gosalyn as Batgirl, or as Amy Mebberson calls her:

Gos-girl, ready for tagging along with her dad. For every new commission Silvani posts, I’m gonna do a companion piece. Just cuz :)

Three nights before he was killed on December 8th, 1980, John Lennon sat down with Rolling Stone to give what would be his final interview. The “joyous, outrageously funny, inspiring, fearless and subversive” conversation (which was never fully transcribed and printed until just last year) paints a vivid and candid picture of a timeless talent. Lennon was on the verge of public reemergence after stepping away from the spotlight to be with his family when he was tragically murdered on the way home from a mixing session at the age of 40. To honor the 31st anniversary of John Lennon’s passing and read about the days before his death, check out the complete interview on RollingStone.com.
